Tech Fair Class-Mate Project Evaluation:

Hello everyone, here are the notes that I took whilst other people were presenting.

Rakan

What is the Project about?

The Project is on a game called “Tanks.” It was a very good game, but  bit too basic, yet in a way complex. He used a program called unity. It was beneficial to society, as it could be used for entertainment.

What are did I like?

I liked how this Game had good graphics and works well.

What can be improved?
In my opinion, the game could have added more maps, much bigger maps, and also much more customizational features.

Christopher and Bhavya

What is the Project about?

The project is on a Robot that they called [Blinky].

What are the did you like about the presentation?

I liked how Blinky was original and it was built from scratch, and no kits were used. I also like the fact that Blinky uses "Green Power."

Any Improvements?

In my opinion, they could have designed Blinky to "look" more advanced.

What is the Project?

It is a USB COOLER MINI A/C

What I liked about the presentation?

It’s great because it’s really easy for me to see that this benefited society. I personally I feel it should go to the Tech Fair.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

The model could possibly have had MORE functions.

What is the Project about?

Quadcopter and Air Refresher. The Quadcopter was beneficial for society, as it can be used for police, as well as entertainment.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

Timur made 2 things and he show a great video of his Drone in action. The Air Refresher makes a good smell and everyone is enjoying it.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

The idea is a little bit plain and requires and little more advancement. Maybe you can increase the range of fragrances.

According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Yes.

What is the Project about?

The 3 purpose car. It can record, deliver small things, and play music.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

It has many ways that it can work.  (Drone, Delivery, it is remote controlled.) They used Lego, this makes it light.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

It uses up a lot of battery and it wasn’t charged fully.

 According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Yes.

What is the Project about?

Wall climbing car.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

It literally climb up walls. It does thing by mainly using an Air Vacuum. They also set up a challenge. They also have a camera attached to the car so that they can see everything on a watch!

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

Yes, 
According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Yes, most probably.

Sasha and Khanda

What is the Project about?

This project was about a projector.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

I like how they made the audience/classmates actually interact. They also did pretty good in explaining.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

Yes, they could have been a bit more louder and shared equal amount of the work.

According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

To be honest, in my opinion, probably not, as it is pretty easy to make, and also they just used something really easy when at our age, it should be slightly more advanced.

Me and Azaan.

So, I think Azaan and I have done OK. We received lots of criticism, but it made us much more aware of our project and what it is. I am really happy to get other people's opinions on our projects. Overall, we need to improve our explanation as well as time-management. To be honest, I did MOST of the building and everything and Azaan did MOST of the explaining when we were presenting. So equalizing is something we really need to improve on. Also, we need to improve our time-management and when we should build and not to leave everything to the "11th hour". However, we did some good things, such as we put LOTS of hard work as well as made something very "good" for our age. I have confidence that we can WIN!

What is the Project about?

This project was a Light and Motion sensor alarm detector "device".

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

I like how they orally explained a lot and "interacted"a lot with the audience.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

Yes, they could have made the model look better by adding a shell for the Sensor device thing.
According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Yes, most probably, because their model was really complex, yet basic to use, which is really good. But, they could have made a shell, like I mentioned before, above.

Ban and Lina.

What is the Project about?

This project was a Robotic Arm.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

I like how they orally explained a lot and interacted"a lot with the audience.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

In my opinion, they could have been a bit louder. and more clear when speaking and displaying their ideas, not all over the place. 
According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Not to be rude or anything, but in my opinion, no because they just bought a kit and kind of claimed as their own. I know that they understood it and assembled it but they didn't make anything really different. Like, the coding was made with the kit, they didn't code anything by themselves. So in my opinion, no. But, this could be a learning experience for them. Maybe next year, they can make something more by themselves and not have bought a kit.    

Ali and Nada.

What is the Project about?

This project was an anime animation/dance.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

I like how they showed us their project demonstration, it was very good and eye-catching.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

In my opinion, they could have been a bit louder and explained more clearly.  
According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Yes, most probably, as this is something not many people do. As I have seen, most people make robots, but this was quite unique compared to the things other people and Azaan and I made.

Adam Houssami.

What is the Project about?

This project was a music box, targeted for babies.

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

I like how he was creative with it.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

In my opinion, he could have made the model look a bit nicer.
According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

50-Yes, 50-no. I am unsure at the moment, as this project is pretty basic, yet nice and simple in a way. But, I really think he could have improved his design of the music box, as it had some of his personal pictures. 

Adam Iich and Karim.

What is the Project about?

This project was a spehro, a really cool turning ball with Bluetooth, apps, and it's full of fun!

What are the positive things you liked about the presentation?

I like how they made a very unique project, with lots of functions, as many other people just have one function, including our group.

Is there anything specific that you would like to give to them as a feedback for improvement?

In my opinion, they could have improved their time-management, and got their shell for the sphero earlier.
According to you, do you think their project needs to be in the Tech Fair 2016?

Yes, most definitely, as it's one of a kind projects. But, maybe no, because they just bought the things, yet they also added some of their own stuff so a yes.
